Replenishment and forecast
Order before it runs out. Not before it piles up.
From sales, stock, incoming goods and lead time, MERA calculates coverage and from it a reorder proposal per article. The method is described openly and measured against actual sales; releasing an order stays with a person.
What goes into a proposal
Demand over recent months, seasonal swings, today's stock, goods already ordered and the supplier's lead time. Out of that comes coverage in days — and the question of when to reorder so that nothing runs out.
Measured, not believed
A forecast nobody checks is an opinion. MERA measures its proposals in hindsight against real sales; changes to the method are adopted only when they do better in that measurement.
- Coverage per article in days
- A proposal with quantity, supplier and date
- Different routes: a parcel and a pallet have different times
- Supplier minimums and price breaks
- Released by hand, never ordered automatically
